Day 1: Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park

After an early morning breakfast at your place of stay on this first day of your 4 Days Murchison Falls safari, You will be met by an experienced tour guide from our Uganda travel agency and immediately set off for Murchison Falls National Park, west of Uganda in a journey that should take us approximately 4 – 5 hours. As we journey, we shall route through the famous triangle in Luwero District where tens of thousands of people lost their lives during the liberation of the country 40 years ago. We shall have our lunch in Masindi District then drive off to Murchison Falls National Park though the Kichumbanyobo gate. We shall briefly stop near the famous devil’s cauldron where the water of the Nile squeezes its way via a very narrow gorge and pours 8mtrs down the river. This is the very first activity of this 4 Days Murchison Falls safari in case you are not visiting Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. After this brief stop, we shall then proceed to the reserved accommodation to relax and relieve ourselves from the journey fatigue as we make preparations for the following day’s activities.

Day 2: Boat Trip to The Devil’s Cauldron

This is the day of your 4 Days Murchison Falls safari that you explore one of the most attractive spots on Murchison Falls National Park. We shall have an early morning game drive around the park to quest for Lions, Elephants, Warthogs, Buffalos, Giraffes and many more mammals after breakfast. Just after lunch in the afternoon, we shall take a boat trip to the Devil’s Cauldron and stop exactly 15 meters away from it to get a clear view of the water that squeezes its way via a very narrow gorge to pour 8 meters down on the river. We shall take photographs and stop at the scene for some time as we also view aquatic mammals like crocodiles, hippopotamuses and more.

Day 3: Game Drive then Boat Trip to the Delta

On Day three of this 4 Days Murchison Falls safari, you shall have another boat ride right after breakfast. This time we shall travel to an area that is blessed with a lot of wildlife, the delta. There is a lot of wildlife in this area that will make you enjoy every moment of the trip. In this drive of your 4 Days Murchison Falls safari, you are likely to view Elephants, Lions, Bush-bucks, Buffaloes, and a various species of birds. We shall return to our places of stay before lunch and basically do much of relaxing in the afternoon.

Day 4: Travel back to Kampala

We shall have another Game Drive in the morning of our last day of the 4 Days Murchison Falls safari then drive back to Kampala. The journey back to Kampala will take us approximately 4 – 5 hours and we should reach by evening. Upon arrival in Kampala, we shall transfer you back to the airport for departure in case you are not having an overnight. In case of an overnight you will have to pay a separate fee for accommodation then we shall transfer you and you catch up with your flight then following day.
