Itinerary

Day 1: picking at the airport.

Then transfer you to Volcanoes National park to have a spectacular scenic view of the Virunga Mountains. Dinner and overnight  at the booked hotels  for a happy night.

Day 2: Ib’iwachu Village & Gorilla Trekking.
Early morning take your breakfast and move  to the park headquarters for briefing before moving for the mountain gorilla trekking. You will take almost an hour interacting with these awesome gorillas , take photographs as they feed or as they are playing around.After that you shall have your lunch . After lunch visit, Ib’iwachu Cultural Village and get immersed and impressed with  the real Kinyarwanda cultural practices. Day 3: Wayne chastine Hiking and the best hotels in Kigali.  
After your breakfast you shall have a hike to Karisoke Research Center to witness the burial grounds  for the famous primatologist . Later move to Lake Kivu for relaxation at the beach and stay overnight at Lake Kivu Serena (Luxury),Paradise Malahide,Water Front Resort (mid-range)

Day 5: Chimpanzee Trekking in Rwanda.

After breakfast transfer to the park headquarters to be briefed about the “dos and don’ts” while with the chimpanzees  in the forest. Your guide will take you to the starting point for Chimpanzee trekking. Expect to meet many other primates like the black and white monkeys and various bird species along the trail which makes it a very impressive tour. Dinner and overnight you shall spend at the hotels that were being booked.

Day 6: golden monkey trekking and canopy walk or game drives in virunga national park.
Take breakfast and transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing by the administrators. Begin the forest hike along with other visitors and park rangers following trails to the golden monkeys.
In the alternative, a canopy walk is another highlight worth undertaking. Dinner and overnight stay at Nyungwe Forest Lodge (luxury)/ Nyungwe Top View Lodge(Deluxe)/ Gisakura Guest House.

Day 7: Kigali city tour and Departure.
Have your breakfast and drive back to Kigali for your  flight back home. Visit Murambi Memorial,  Butare Museum . when you are to travel the following day, a city tour that includes visiting the handcrafts markets like jaukali craft market and Gisozi genocide site would be optional.
